PESHTEMAL
COLLECTION
PESHTEMAL COLLECTION
A peshtemal is a classic Turkish towel dating back to ancient Anatolian bathing rituals. Our peshtemals are made in Denizli, located in the southwestern region of Turkey, where the weaving traditions have been the cultural identity since the Romans settled there around 1200BC.
The popularity of this item originated from the combination of nearby local thermal springs and the cultivation of high-quality cotton.

In recent trends, peshtemals have replaced regular towels because they absorb water well, dry fast, take little space and are overall very versatile. While commonly used as blankets, table runners, shawls, and scarves, they have also gained adoration for their charming pattern designs and color schemes.

All Tokens of Pera peshtemals are woven on traditional looms, made of 100% cotton, and feature handmade tassels.
SCARF COLLECTION
Just like the peshtemal collection, our scarves are made in the heart of weaving in Turkey on traditional looms.

Made with 100% Premium Turkish Cotton, they are lightweight, soft and are extremely breathable.

Being a versatile fashion accessory they would make the perfect accessory as a shawl to put on a nice summer breeze or as a neck warmer on a chilly fall afternoon.
